 My daughter and I have been going through many books lately . We signed up with our local library's 1000 books program. We've read so many good ones that I really wanted to keep a list of them for myself and also as recommendation to other parents.

         Piranhas Don't Eat Bananas is a super favourite of my 2 year-old daughter, Rey.  The author, Aaron Blabey would perhaps be  better known for his Pig the Pug series ( another favourite). Piranhas is the story of Brian, a piranha who loves fruit, and his attempt to entice his friends to expand their diet. The illustrations are beautiful. It rhymes and is very fun to read. I get my daughter to complete the sentences by pointing to the pictures ( the rhyming helps). This book sits at the top of our favourite list hence the 5/5 rating. Read it !
