Why is there rice everywhere?

"Why is there rice everywhere?  "

I asked, as there was rice all over the chair and table. 

I had just come back from work and because of Covid 19,  I went straight to shower and change before dinner  I came down to find rice everywhere, on my seat and all over the table. There was a small serving of rice at my usual place on the table. 

It took me a while to click,  my darling daughter Rey had filled my plate for me while I showered. 

My heart warmed. 

I came back another day and we were having wrap for dinner.  Rey quickly grabbed a plate and filled it for me. 

I am a blessed man indeed.
