Every night I tell Rey a few stories after we turn off the lights. Often she will ask me to tell her a story about an animal, such as doggie, fishie, rabbit and such. More recently she's been combining 2 animals like " monkey and frog" elephant and mouse". I usually make of the stories or tell variants of stories I know.
Well tonight Rey asked for a story of Giraffe, Zebra, Elephant and froggie! Initially I was stumped.How was I to think of story with 4 animals on the spot?
Suddenly it dawned on me.
Noah's Ark !
So I told her the story of Noah's Ark.
And there was a storm outside too! Perfect.
